Digital Depression
Technology! Digital video cameras as well as regular digital cameras are not as great as people think. Hmm, did I really get two faulty items? How coincidental lol. But seriously, I am sick of these two things not working and they are not reliable at all! I know that I have full loaded batteries in there or at least that is what it tells me, but the next time I turn it on it says its dead... what is up with that? I buy the proper batteries and whatnot but nothing seems to work. GRRR! any pointers :P

Batteries can go very quickly in digital cameras. I'd suggest rechargeables. And also, if you can avoid the "preview" feature when taking photos, that helps a lot.
I thoroughly agree with Alec. However, with the rechargeable idea, I have my own suggestion. Never again buy a digital device that does not have an internal rechargeable battery (something that you can plug into a USB port or plug in to charge it up). Battery costs add up big time, and any amount you save (if any) by buying a camera that uses regular AA or AAA batteries, you will lose slowly throughout the life of it. And you will gain nothing but annoyance. I, personally, will never buy a device that uses regular batteries again, if at all possible.
